With a father and daughter winemaking team, Anderson Winery is a tiny family winery and dryland vineyard producing award winning handcrafted wines. Howard Anderson draws on 46 years of winemaking experience including 15 years at Seppelt, while Christobelle brings fresh ideas and techniques learned both here and abroad.
The Andersons are highly regarded for full bodied reds, as well as sparkling wines which are traditionally handmade and late disgorged.
All Anderson wine is made on site by Howard and Christobelle using traditional methods such as no irrigation, hand-harvesting, basket pressing, open fermentation, and the traditional Champagne technique entirely by hand.
The only wine preservative we use is sulphur dioxide gas, which is allowable in organic wines (rather than the more common powder which dissolves to release sulphur dioxide and is not allowable in organic wines).
Our aim is to make smooth, flavoursome wines which we enjoy drinking - and hopefully you will too!!
