About Eden Springs
If you are passionate about wine then Eden Springs could just be the winery that would suit you. Each vintage is lovingly crafted to reflect the true essence of the varietals from which it is made and this boutique winery has vineyards located in the High Eden, a sub-region of Eden Valley and in the Barossa Valley. Eden Springs’ range of High Eden and Barossa wines reflect the best of both worlds in Barossa fruit – the elegance of cool climate Eden Valley and the full-bodied richness of the Barossa Valley floor.
James Halliday in the 2010 edition of his Australian Wine Companion awarded Eden Springs coveted five star winery status, marking both the winery and its wines as outstanding quality. Eden Springs also made it into the Companion’s elite Best of the Best section, and was rated as one of Halliday’s ten Dark Horse wineries of 2010. Describing Eden Springs as ‘world class’, he was also impressed by the ‘mouth-watering’ pricing of the wines, which he rates as ‘exceptional value for money’. Backing up these glowing comments, Halliday awarded 94 points to Eden Springs’ current release wines - the 2008 High Eden Riesling, 2007 Barossa Shiraz and the 2007 High Eden Cabernet Sauvignon – placing them among Australia’s most renowned wines from the country’s most lauded wineries. All single-vineyard, estate-grown varietals, the ratings are testament to the quality of Eden Springs wines.
