About Toppers Mountain Wines
The cool climate vineyards north of Tingha in Northern New South Wales are no stranger to the experienced wine lover. Here you will find the vineyards of Toppers Mountain Wines on the Western edge of the New England Tablelands at an altitude of 900m above sea level. With the vines planted in the beautiful, deep red volcanic soils high above the MacIntyre and Gwydir rivers, it’s little wonder that the wines from this winery are of such great quality and structure. Specialising in Tempranillo and Gewurztraminer, the winery also produces Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Merlot, Pinotage, Tannat, Touriga, Nebbiolo, Barbera, Petit Verdot, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, Rielsing, Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon, Shiraz and Vioginier. Quite a mouthful for this often forgotten wine growing region. Despite many wine lovers being unaware of its illustrious past, the wines from this region are of outstanding quality and a look through the wines on their list will have you eagerly placing your orders.
