About Cape Lavender
A more unusual combination will be hard to find, between wine and lavender. Planted out in 1999, this vineyard has a truly unique character all of its own. Nestled in the heart of Western Australia’s Margaret River wine region and being close to the Indian Ocean, the cool winters and slow ripening summers impart a character and structure to Cape Lavender wines that is sure to have you ordering again and again. The wines exhibit a complex, fruit driven style and are of premium quality. Cape Lavender has become the first winery to develop the world’s first lavender wine. In a similar way that oak provides depth and structure to a wine, the lavender imparts the herbal flavours and aroma to the new range. The resulting diverse range of quality wines, sparkling wines and the White Lavender Port have been a hit with wine lovers country wide. Alongside the premium Margaret River-style Moss Penny Estate Wine, you will find that Cape Lavender has wine to satisfy your wine drinking requirements.
