About Mt Jagged Wines
This 250 acre family owned vineyard located at Mt Jagged focuses on single site, cool climate Shiraz, Chardonnay, Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot/Cabernet and both red and white Sparkling wines. At 350m above sea level on the Fleurieu Peninsula, the strong maritime influence results in climatic conditions that are perfect for producing award winning vintages. You will find that your wine has benefited from the increased humidity and moderate temperature fluctuations. Producing classical cool climate styles, the availability of ample water allows the vineyard to focus on producing the best quality fruit. You will taste the results of the optimally ripened fruit. Cleverly planted vines and minimal use of sprays ensures that the vineyard takes full advantage of the topography, wind direction, rainfall and natural pest control. All in all, a recipe for great wines and you would do well to peruse the list of stock available.
