Winemakers Comments and Tasting Notes
For Semillon lovers this is a treat of great magnitude. The Clare Valley has a history of producing phenomenal examples of this variety and this is no exception. You will be met by a delicate golden hue which captures the light and reflects the complexities that lie within. Pour a glass and you will discover the hints of pineapple on the nose which captivate your senses. Taking a sip will confirm your suspicions that the tropical fruits are hidden within your glass. Finally a full rich texture with a mouth watering palate completes the performance and you will be ready to take another sip. For best results you will want to serve this wine with cheese, dessert, snacks or patés. Asian and Thai food also improves with a glass as do seafood and fruit desserts.
