BoutiqueWineries.com.au is dedicated to increasing the awareness for Australia's small, family-business wine producers
so that they get the recognition that they deserve. And just as importantly, we are equally dedicated to giving you, our wine
loving visitor, access to new wine experiences that you would not otherwise have the opportunity to taste and enjoy.
The mass-produced wines from the big wine producers are easily found in bottle shops and other retail outlets. On the other
hand, the small wineries do not get the same publicity, merely because of their size. This does not in any way detract from
the quality of their wines; they just can't compete with the volume of the big companies.
Our wines from Australia's small wineries are truly amazing; and it is for this reason we are dedicated to bringing these
wonderful wines to you.

Are boutique wines more expensive than wines at my local retail outlet?
No, this is a common misperception about the products from the smaller wineries. Here at BoutiqueWineries.com.au, 84% of the
wines on offer are between $15 and $25 per bottle, some are even lower.
This is on par with the cost of wines in retail outlets BUT you are getting more for your dollar,
as the wines are uniquely different and well suited to your individual wine preferences.

How do I chose a wine that I'll enjoy?

Traditionally, you would walk into a retail store and choose a wine by what is on the label, what the bottle looks
like or by asking the salesperson to give you a recommendation. This is hardly definitive when you have a wide selection
to choose from.
Here at BoutiqueWineries.com.au, we give you plenty of first hand information about the boutique wines and the wineries
they come from, helping you to find a wine that is perfect for your needs.
Here's how you do it:
- Read the winemaker's description, on the wine label.
- View the image of the wine bottle.
- Use our Wine-Tasting Chart to see if your wine is dry or sweet. Does it have low or high tannins? Is the Acidity low or
high and was oak used in the winemaking process. All this helps you to match a wine to your personal taste preferences.
- By utilising our wine and food matching tool, you will be able to find a wine that compliments and enhances the aroma
and flavour of your favourite meals.
- Take a look at how many medals and awards the wines have won. This will give you an idea of the quality of wine you are about to order.

What is the best way to choose a wine if I don't know what I am looking for?
Selecting a wine for you is an extremely personal process. You need to take into account your wine preferences
(e.g. red, white or sparkling wine) and your favourite varieties (e.g. Chardonnay or Shiraz). Use these as your starting point.
Alternatively, if you are feeling adventurous, we've done a lot of the hard work for you. Many of our clients consider

How do I find a wine that I am specifically looking for?
Start searching in the search box (like Google!) with information
that you know about the wine you are looking for, e.g. the winery name or wine name.
Alternatively, use can also search via wine region, vintage or price range. You will also find a list of winery names to choose from.

How do I get access to wines from a winery that is not yet at Boutique Wineries?
We have a form specifically for you to let us know who you want to see on our list of suppliers.
Go to our "request a new winery" page to
find the winery you are looking for.
Complete the form to let us know you are looking for the wine from that particular winery. We will then contact the winery
for you. And, as soon as this winery has joined the BoutiqueWineries.com.au community, we'll let you know.

FAQs – Ordering Wine
Where do the wines come from?
Once you have ordered your wine, our system informs the winery/ies of your order. Each winery then processes your selection
and arranges delivery of your wine to your door. Your wine is sent directly from the winery to you.

Are there any minimum order quantities?
Yes there are. While most wineries do not have a minimum order size, i.e. you can order 1 bottle if you like; some wineries
do specify a minimum order quantity. This is specific to each winery; some wineries have a minimum order quantity
of 1, 2, 3, 6 or 12 bottles.
You will see the minimum order quantities for each winery in their individual "delivery terms and conditions" at the
bottom of their wine and winery pages.
You can find the wineries that offer a minimum order quantity of 1 bottle by selecting the "minimum order size" in the
"wineries that offer" drop down menu.

Can I order mixed dozens?
Yes you can. To receive a mixed dozen in a single case you can only mix and match wines from within the same winery.
However, if you want to sample wines from multiple wineries in a single order you can. It just means you will receive
multiple deliveries - one from each winery.

How do I find wineries that accept orders of 1 bottle?
You can find the wineries that offer a minimum order quantity of 1 bottle by selecting the "minimum order size" in the Wineries that Offer drop down menu.

Do you have a shop front?
We don't have a physical shop front. BoutiqueWineries.com.au is a virtual winery tour. The shop front is the boutique
wineries themselves! When you order wine via BoutiqueWineries.com.au you are ordering direct from wineries countrywide.

FAQs – More Questions About Ordering and Pricing Your Wine
How do I order wine?
Ordering wine via BoutiqueWineries.com.au is easy! We'll take you through our simple 7 step ordering process:
FIRST: Choose a wine via your preferred search method at Search for Wine
or Gift Vouchers to add to your shopping cart.
SECOND: SECOND: When you have selected all of the wines you want, go to the Checkout,
check the contents and click "Checkout".
THIRD: Here, you will be asked to login into your account (or create one if this is your first time). If you are a new
customer, click "Create New Account" where you will be asked to enter the minimum information we need to ensure your wine is
delivered to you as quickly as possible.
If you are a returning customer, simply enter your email address and password; saving you time as you won't need to re-enter
your delivery information.
FOURTH: Specific to this order, you will then have the option to send wine as a gift to someone else, request gift
wrapping, redeem a gift voucher and/or specify special delivery instructions.
FIFTH: Choose your preferred payment method:
Choice 1: You can pay online with our secure online payment processor. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Bankcard, Diners Club
and American Express. This is the fastest way to begin enjoying your wine!
or
Choice 2: You can pay via BPAY which gives you the flexibility of offline payment. Via BPAY, you can contact your financial
institution by internet banking, phone banking or your local branch to make this payment directly from your cheque or savings
account.
Note: If you pay by BPAY, please allow a couple of extra days for delivery, as the wine will not be dispatched to you
until we have confirmed payment.
SIXTH: As soon as your payment is confirmed, we will send your order to the winery/ies involved. They will immediately
begin to arrange delivery of your wine to you directly from their cellar door.
SEVENTH: Check your email inbox. We will send you confirmation of your order via email.

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept credit card (Visa, Mastercard and Bankcard), Diners Club and American Express. This is by far the quickest way to
place an order and take delivery.
If you prefer not to use credit card, we also accept BPAY (contact your financial institution by internet, phone banking or
branch to make this payment direct from your cheque or savings account). When you pay by BPAY, please allow a couple of extra days
for delivery, as the wine will not be dispatched to you until we have received payment confirmation.

FAQs – What About Delivery?
What are the delivery costs?
Costs for delivery vary depending on which winery you order wine from and your delivery address. To find the delivery costs for
each winery, see the winery's "delivery terms and conditions" at the bottom of each winery page.
Some wineries offer free delivery for orders above a pre-defined value. To find these wineries, select the "FREE delivery for
certain orders" option in the "Wineries that Offer" drop
down menu.

How are my wines delivered to me? Which courier service is used?
Each Winery chooses their preferred and trusted courier service to safely deliver your wine to you. However we do find that
most Wineries trust Australia Post for reliable delivery.
For added security, we require that your wine must be signed for on delivery.

Can my order be tracked?
Yes. Each wine delivery can be tracked so, if necessary, we can track the location of your wine delivery for you.

What if I am not at home when the courier delivers the wine?
When placing your order we ask that you specify some special delivery instructions to let the courier know what they should do
if you are not home at the time of delivery, e.g. if not at home leave on back steps.
For more security, it is best to please select a delivery address, e.g. work address, where you will be during working hours.

FAQs – I'd Like To Send A Gift
Do you have gift boxes?
Unfortunately we don't offer gift boxes as your wines are dispatched directly from the cellar. However, some wineries do offer
complimentary gift wrapping services. You can find these wineries by selecting the Gift Wrapping option in the
"International Delivery" drop down menu.

Can I send wine as a gift?
Yes, you can send wine as a gift. Simply enter your gift recipient's name and address in the "delivery address" option during checkout.
You also have the option of sending a FREE "gift card" to your gift recipient by email and/or with the wine delivery.
Your gift recipient can receive your message by one of two methods -- and they are both FREE for you:
- If you provide your wine gift recipient's email address we will send him/her an e-card. This e-card will include your message,
let them know that you have ordered some boutique wine for them and to expect delivery of their wine gift.
- The boutique winery will write your message on a gift card and include it in with the delivery of your wine gift.

Can I send gift vouchers?
Yes, you can send gift vouchers to your friends and family to let them choose their own wine. Gift vouchers are delivered by
email, helping you to give those last-minute gifts! Visit our Wine Gift Vouchers page

How do I redeem a gift voucher?
- Choose your wine. Create your own mixed case (from one winery) or choose an already prepared mixed case. Or just choose
several bottles from several wineries and add them to your cart.
- In the Checkout you will see a summary of your choice.
- If you are happy with your choice, continue to complete your order.
- You'll now be asked for your login details (username and password). If you are not already a customer of
BoutiqueWineries.com.au, you simply create a new account.
- On the Checkout page you'll see another summary of your choice including the delivery costs.
- Below the address section, you can choose to claim your voucher. Do this by clicking on 'Claiming a Gift Voucher?'
- Type in your voucher ID and click on 'Claim the voucher'. (Please be sure that you are entering the Gift Voucher Number
exactly as it appears in your Gift Voucher email, and that it has not expired.)
- Now scroll down the page and confirm that you are older than 18 and click 'Continue'.
- If your total order is smaller than your voucher amount, your voucher is still valid with the remaining value and you can
come back any time for a new order.
- If your total order equals your voucher amount, the voucher is fully redeemed and your order is completed.
- If your total order is greater than your voucher amount, we ask you to pay the remaining value via credit card or BPAY.

The terms for using BoutiqueWineries.com.au Gift Vouchers are as follows:
- Gift Vouchers and unused portions of Gift Vouchers should be spent within 12 months from the date sent; which is the expiry
date included on your Gift Voucher.
- Gift Vouchers may be redeemed through our site, towards the purchase of any products listed on www.BoutiqueWineries.com.au.
- Gift Vouchers are not redeemable for cash and cannot be returned for a cash refund.
- Any unused balance will be recorded in your account for future orders and is not transferable. The original expiration date
will apply to any unused balance.
- If your order exceeds the amount of your Gift Voucher, you must pay for the balance with a credit card.
- We are not responsible for lost or stolen Gift Vouchers.
- BoutiqueWineries.com.au will have the right to close customer accounts and request alternative forms of payment if a
fraudulently obtained Gift Voucher is redeemed.
