Chris and Kathryn Bourke are at Millthorpe near Orange in NSW. They make a single vineyard bottle aged dry red. The cool continental climate of their high altitude site is similar to eastern France and produces aged Cabernet Shiraz of great elegance and intensity.

This is a wine of medium body that displays layers of complexity including unique aged characters. It is elegant, soft, intense and savoury. It was released for sale in late 2007 after six years of cellar maturation and will continue to please until at least 2010. Decant it to let it breathe then drink it with a meal. Each bottle is sealed with a robust stainless crown seal + bidule insert, not a screw cap.Warm regards,
