Big congratulations to Kalleske Wines from the team of Boutique Wineries. The Barons of the Barossa announced today the winemaker of the year, Troy Kalleske.

And if you want to see why, have a look what Kalleske Wines offers at Boutique Wineries.

Kalleske Clarry's Grenache Shiraz 2006

The wine is rich red in colour with purple hues. Impressive aromas of perfumed Grenache grapes, red roses, cinnamon spice, turkish delight, raspberry and a hint of chocolate emanate from the glass. The harmonious palate is mouth filling with intense pure fruit flavours balanced with subtle chalky tannins and a smooth texture. A generous finish completes this opulent wine. An approachable and fruit-driven wine that is best enjoyed over the next five years.

Kalleske Clarry's White 2006

The wine is brilliant white straw in colour. Freshly cut apples, citrus, sweet grass and a hint of tropical perfume give an inviting and uplifting nose. These fresh fruit flavours are also present on the lively and sublime palate which is bursting with fruit. The wine has good structure and mouthfeel with mid-weight texture and a crisp flinty backbone. A lengthy finish completes a very tasty wine. A fresh, flavoursome wine full of fruit; best enjoyed while young.

Kalleske wines - online at www.BoutiqueWineries.com.auKalleske is a family owned winery and vineyard at Greenock in the Barossa Valley where they have been farming since 1853 with the oldest remaining Shiraz vineyard dating back to 1875. Congratulations again and all the best for the future!

Warm regards,
