Wine Review - 2007 Ballandean Estate Wines Sémillon Sauvignon Blanc - Buy Australian Wine Online
Hello! This wonderful evening I'm reviewing a very pleasant wine from Ballandean Estate Wines, Granite Belt, Queensland. It's a 2007 Sémillon Sauvignon Blanc from Ballandean Estate. Soft and flavoursome the Sémillon blends well with the Sauvignon Blanc giving a very smooth tasting wine. Well done Ballandean!
On the label:
Ballandean Estate is a fourth generation family business that is located in the cool climate Granite Belt of South East Queensland, 850 meters above sea level. Ballandean is Queensland's oldest family owned and operated winery.
A dry, easy drinking style with a perfect balance of tropical fruit flavours and grassy herbaceousness. A vibrant wine that is an excellent accompaniment to all seafood."
As a winemaking family dynasty Ballandean Estate are justifiably proud of their reputation, their brand, and their pioneering role in the establishment of the Queensland Wine Industry.
So, on your next visit to the Granite Belt, be sure to include a visit to their Estate and they guarantee it will be the "Wine Experience" you have been waiting for.
At their Cellar Door you will find plenty of space to taste their great wines and a great range of local gourmet products for sale. There are two pot-belly stoves to keep you warm in winter. They established in 1931.
Thanks for reading my review and feel free to post your own comments to our blog.
Warm regards,
