What an honour for us to welcome Topper's Mountain Wines. They just joined today www.BoutiqueWineries.com.au, the online website for Australian boutique wines.

They are a cool climate vineyard north of Tingha (near Inverell) in northern NSW in the fledgling New England GI. Topper's Mountain Wines are on the western edge of the New England Tablelands at an altitude of 900m asl. The vineyard is on beautiful, deep, red volcanic soils high above the valleys of the MacIntyre & Gwydir Rivers. Their specialties are Tempranillo and Gewuerztraminer.

Thunderbolt's Riesling Traminer (2005): This semi-sweet white wine is a blend of 75% Riesling and 25% Gewurztraminer. Gentle sweet aromas of apples, stonefruit and cinnamon feature with lingering sweet spice flavours. This wine is ageing gracefully. This Australian boutique wine for only $14 per bottle!

Topper's Mountain Chardonnay (2006): This partially oaked Chardonnay shows good structure & delicate aromas of apples, citrus blossum & passionfruit with generous fruit flavours on the palate and a lengthy mineral finish supported by clean acitity and a subtle underlay of buttery oak. This Australian boutique wine for only $20 per bottle!

Topper's Mountain Gewurztraminer (2007): This fragrantly aromatic white wine is sweetly scented with Turkish Delight and rose water. Mouth-filling lychee flavours are infused with orange rind and exotic spices on the palate giving a lifted finish. $19 only for this Australian boutique wine!

Topper's Mountain Tempranillo (2006): This famous Spanish grape has produced and approachable, easy drinking style that is full of class! Aromas of blackcurrant & vanille bean are entwined with a juicy explosion of mocha and raspberries in the mouth which linger on a silky palate. $18 only per bottle for this Australian boutique wine!
