Australian Wine Review - Sandstone Semillon
Top Australian Wine: Sandstone Wine Review
Good evening!Today on this fine Australia Day I am reviewing the 2001 Semillon from Sandstone - a top Australian winery, in Margaret River, Western Australia.
On the label:
Tardy. Vivacious. Walnut. Vanilla. Longevity. Peachy.
With the semantics complete, our broader philosophy is that wine shouldn't be taken too seriously. Great wine is made better by the company of good friends and good food. In a world that is moving faster, please take time to relax and enjoy our wine and while we are the supporters of moderation we also believe that if the temptation to open another bottle is too great, just do it. We do!"
Sandstone is a small owner operated winery specialising in straight varietals. At the same time not too serious, it's all about enjoyment and having fun!!
Have you tasted this Semillon from Sandstone or a similar Australian wine Semillon? Post your own review in the comments of this blog.
Warm regards,Jeremiah Josey
