When the Galli family founded this estate 11 years ago, they were determined to become successful- and quickly too. In relatively short time, it has become home to successful plantings of Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Viognier, Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache and interesting Italian varieties like Sangiovese, Tempranillo and Pinot Grigio.
International trader
The Galli family is committed to creating well-structured, food-friendly wine. Although relatively new in the industry, Galli Estate has asserted itself as an international player on the wine-trading scene. Between 30 to 40% of the 20 000 cases produced annually are exported to USA, Canada, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore and Denmark.
Shining locally
Locally, Galli Estate has impressed with their wines. Most notable is the Heathcote Shiraz Viognier, Galli Estate’s best selling wine. Its full flavours, aromas and perfect balance are what make it a winner with critics and consumers. Many critics regard it as one of the best reds to come out of the Sunbury wine region.
